Turquoise is the brightest cool tone DUALIE makes. It has more green than Stone Blue and far more saturation than Sea Foam, which puts it in its own corner of the palette. Everything mechanical is unchanged: the patent pending cap swap, the 304 stainless body, the vacuum insulation.
Most highly visible colors are warm, which is why the bright end of a range usually runs orange, magenta and yellow. Turquoise gets the visibility without the heat, so it stands out on a lawn or a dock while still reading as a cold drink holder. It is the compromise between finding your can and liking how it looks.
On the water this finish either matches or contrasts depending on the day, and both work. Against a white hull it pops; against a green lake it recedes. What it does not do is look like a rental, because the pigment is fused into a powder coat rather than printed onto a plastic sleeve.
The reason to own one of these instead of three foam sleeves is that a cooler is never full of one thing. Standard cans, tall slim cans and 12 oz bottles all end up in the same ice, and the cap swap covers all three in seconds. Buying a bright color simply means you keep the same one all afternoon.
