Visible in low light

Orange holds its brightness at dusk longer than red or yellow do, which is the whole reason it became the standard for high visibility gear. Set one down on a tailgate at the end of the day and you will still find it when everything else has gone to silhouette. That is a small thing until it is the difference between finishing your drink and buying another.

A colorway with a job

This is not a decorative shade. It suits a truck bed, a deer camp, a garage bench and a boat with orange safety gear already aboard. If the rest of your equipment leans utilitarian rather than domestic, orange fits into it rather than sitting apart from it, and the powder coated stainless underneath is built to the same standard as every other finish.

Cleaning a bright finish

Warm brights show grease and grass stains before dark colors do, and the fix is the same for all of them. Soap and water handles most of it, the dishwasher handles the rest, and the non porous coating means nothing soaks into the surface. Do not take steel wool to it: the coating is tough but it is not a polished metal that can be brought back.
