Both flasks are molded from Tritan, a clear rigid copolyester, and dropped into a silicone bumper that takes the impact at the corners. That combination is what makes them shatterproof rather than merely tough, and it is why you can see the level without opening anything. There is no metal anywhere in the body, cap or bumper.
The 6 oz measures 3.8 by 1 by 4.3 inches and disappears into a jacket pocket. The 8 oz keeps the same width and profile and grows to 5.5 inches tall for a third more capacity. If it lives in a bag or a chair pocket, the 8 oz is the obvious pick. If it has to sit flat in clothing, take the 6 oz. Ten colors in each size.
The metal free construction is sometimes read as a way past a bag check. It is not. Venues, stadiums and parks set their own rules about outside drinks and those rules apply whatever the flask is made of. What the material genuinely buys you is a flask that does not shatter on concrete, does not taste of metal and is not a problem near water.
