How charcoal shifts with light

Dark neutrals are never one color. Indoors under warm bulbs, Charcoal sits close to the Black colorway and most people cannot separate them across a room. Outdoors it opens up and shows gray, which is why it photographs better than black at a table full of food and drinks. If you want the discretion of black without the flatness, this is the version.

A good match for stainless hardware

Most coolers, carts and boat fittings are either brushed metal or dark gray plastic. Charcoal lands between those two, so it does not fight with either. Paired with the Stainless colorway in the same family it makes an obvious two piece set, one for you and one for whoever forgot to bring theirs.

Sweat proof means dry hands
