Showing the architecture

On a white body the horizontal line where the cooler meets the tin becomes a graphic element rather than a hidden joint. It is the finish that makes the design legible from across a table, and the one that looks most like a two part object on purpose. Dark colors hide the same detail entirely.

A finish that asks for cleaning

White is the highest maintenance choice in this family. The base sits closest to whatever surface the unit is set on, so it collects marks from picnic tables and cooler lids before the top half does. Soap and water lift most of it and the piece takes a dishwasher cycle, but plan on doing it more often.

The lightest looking of the five

Because a pale finish reduces apparent mass, the white version reads as smaller than the black one even though the dimensions are identical. If the extra height of the pouch base is the thing making you hesitate, this is the colorway that minimizes it visually. It does not change what fits in a cup holder.
