Navy is the most conservative finish available on the Lower Deckie and the one that fits an existing set of gear rather than standing apart from it. The construction is unchanged: a 3 in 1 insulated drink half over a twist off metal tin sized for a standard pouch pack.

Notes on this one

Matching what is already aboard

Navy is the default on the water, so a navy cooler joins the seat covers, the cushions and the cooler bag instead of interrupting them. It also hides the gray scuffs that come from being set down on non slip decking, which the White and Fog Gray versions of this model will show first.

Four jobs in one body

Counted honestly, this holds a standard can, a slim can, a bottle and a pouch tin. That is four functions in a piece of hardware the size of a large tumbler, and it is the reason it costs more than the plain can cooler. If you only ever drink one format and carry nothing else, the standard model is the better buy.

Cleaning the base

Everything above the seam is dishwasher friendly like the rest of the range, but the tin compartment is worth wiping by hand and letting dry open. Anything stored in there works better when the metal is dry, and a sealed base that has been put away damp is the one part of this design that will complain.
